A NEW HEAD CHEF AT THE HOTEL NEGRESCO
|
Jean-Denis Rieubland, 34 year old, born in Agen, will commence work at the head of the Negresco's Chantecler*, Rotonde and Banqueting department in mid-Septembre 2007.
He will be seconded by Thierry Michelet from the Hotel Ritz in Paris. After graduation at the Lycée Hôtelier de Nice, his path led him to the prestigious «Eden Roc », « Le Byblos des Neiges », « Carlton* », « La Tour d'Argent*** » in Paris, « La Villa Florentine*» in Lyon, « Lapérouse » in Paris and then « Le Mas Candille *» in Mougins.
Crowned with numerous distinctions : Disciple d'Escoffier, winner of the Auguste Escoffier Trophy Normandy 2005 and more recently the coveted award as « Best craftsman of France 2007».
Jean Denis Rieubland describes his cuisine as « Inspired by the products & traditions of Provence. »

NEW SUITE AT THE HOTEL NEGRESCO

Newly inaugurated, the three new suites of 100 m2 have been entirely decorated by Madame Augier. The furniture of the #327 is Art Déco (1925). The two large bay windows (decorated with silk curtains) offer a panoramic view of the Bay of Angels. The bedhead, an enormous butterfly, is made in four colours of leather. It has been designed by the artist Isabelle Planté and manufactured in the workrooms of the Hotel Negresco. The bathroom, in pink marble with a bay window, overlooking the bedroom. Suite #227: this newly created suite of 100 m2 has also been entirely decorated by Madame Augier. Louis XIV furniture, pastel yellow colours and a bedhead representing an angel. The console, bedside tables and wall lights are in gilted wood. The pink marble bathroom is open onto the bedroom. Suite # 127 This new suite is identical in surface area to the two other suites. The style of this suite is Louis XV furniture.

DOMESTIC ANIMALS AT THE NEGRESCO
Domestic animals are accepted in the Hotel Negresco and your pet is welcome to stay in your room. A note will be placed in the room to inform our staff of the presence of your faithful companion and a rug and bowl for water will be provided. If you wish, our concierge will make arragements for your animal to be taken for a walk. Daily rate: 17€ -
